Passionate hosts

The mountain hotel and bed and breakfast for sports enthusiasts in Marlstein have been informal and family-run hotels for centuries.

Today, they are run by two brothers, Alois and Gebhard, and their families. Aunt Inge and their mum, Romana, are in the kitchen; Uncle Gebhard and junior manager Armin and his wife Sabrina do the service and run the office. The farmers and successful livestock breeders are Matthias, a son, and Uncle Alois. Their father is the leader of the hikes and a fantastic entertainer. Armin is a former professional mountain biker and road cyclist (won third place in the Ötztal Cycling Marathon in 2012). But usually we all help out where we are needed. You can find Matthias and Hannes at the Feldring Alm and in winter Armin and Martina look after our outdoor bar in Kühtai. Of course, we can’t forget our long-standing, excellent staff. Everyone contributes to the familial atmosphere here in Marlstein.
