Marlstein in the Tyrol’s Ötztal valley is a family idyll with thousands of activities to make your holiday yours. Don’t just take it from us, experience it for yourself! There are meadows and alpine pastures for children to romp through, a play area with all kinds of adventures and we have our own petting zoo with cute animals like ponies, miniature goats, rabbits, ducks, Oessant dwarf sheep and our lovely miniature donkey, Emil. You can also join us on excursions, relax around the camp fire, play games, go canoeing, rafting and much, much more.... And enjoy the ‘farm’ experience!
Mountains affect
For the those who like to run around all day. For those who think that heaven on earth is riding a pony. And of course, for parents or guardians with a passion for nature, the mountains and rural settings. Hike up to breath-taking view points and as far as your feet can carry you. Go tobogganing, skiing, cross-country skiing and snow-shoe hiking until your legs turn to jelly. Discover culture and history, experience real adventures, conquer the longest roller coaster in the Alps or simply relax all day in Austria’s most extraordinary thermal spa, the Aquadome.
Children's programme at Marlstein
There’s also a wide range of activities available for families during the holidays. In summer the kids can ride our ponies or go for a hike with them, free entry to the forest swimming pool in Haiming, collect an egg for breakfast at our farm, feeding our rabbits and much more. When it comes to winter, children can play on the winter play area and enjoy special ski courses aimed at children (with free lift pass on certain dates). And of course, we also have children’s beds, baby listening devices etc. It’s no wonder that up here on this remote mountain, away from the hustle and bustle lies a true hidden paradise for children!
Widis kings of holiday club
Marlstein is partnered with WIDI’s children's club. So, every Monday to Friday from 09:00 until 16:00, our youngest guests can enjoy a children's programme full of great activities encompassing the mountain, water, action and relaxation: In the Längenfeld waterpark, the Hochoetz activity areas, rafting on the River Inn, looking for treasure in the children’s park, parties in the forest and meadows, and in the sensational Widiversum fun park on Hochoetz. So, you can have a day without the kids with no worries. But if you want to join in, it’s no problem! Making everyday a fun-filled family day.
